I am excited to announce that we have officially nailed down the date for our 2015 snowshoe trip. We are planning on snowshoeing the 5.5 k Penstock loop at Kent creek on March 15, 2015. We will leave Didsbury at noon that Sunday and plan to stop for a delicious and very anticipated supper (that WE don't have to cook!) on the way home. Seriously - could a day be better?? Mountains, fresh air, exercise, friends... good food... I'm excited already.
Those interested can please contact either Cory or myself (Sarah). Hopefully, there will be a few more dumps of snow before winter is over-- yes, there are those of us out there that love winter. I have been enjoying all the warm chinooky days, but I feel like I haven't got my quota of winter activities in yet! I was blessed to celebrate my husband's early birthday and our late anniversary last Friday. We were fortunate to hit Lake Louise on a powder day. It was heavenly. Powder smiles all around!! And, it made me anxious to get out and ride/celebrate those mountains some more! We sure are blessed to have them... just "Around the Corner". How about you? Do you love getting out and about -- in any season? Or, are you a fair weather kind of person? ((hugs)) Sarah

Your love for the snow has grown on me... It's not snowboarding but I'll take snowshoes and excited to get out and play

I look forward to next year! It will pass quickly! And, we will all buy your soap so we don't stink 😉.

Or we'll all smell the same and it well be our distinctive group scent!

AuthorSarah and Cory have a passion for hiking and being out in nature. There is no feeling quite the same as standing on the top of a mountain, sitting by a hidden lake, the jelly legs at the bottom of a steep descent, the sun on your face or the wind in your hair. Even our children have come to love it! Archives
